Connections - 3 Part Series

Presentation #1 - It’s All About Connections - How do I improve my connection with my child?

One of the most requested topics is "how do I connect with my child"?  Particularly in middle school, our children want independence.  They want us to leave them alone (at least that's what they say).

Making Connections

To connect with your child, you also need to connect with yourself, your values and your priorities.

Learning to Breathe

In the heat of the moment, when tension rises, how can you take a breath?  You will learn strategies using your breath, that will connect your heart and mind, so you can slow down and respond, instead of react.

Identifying Support

This is not a role to take on alone.  Support is out there.  if you identify and utilize supports in your life, the journey will be much easier.  How do you ask for and receive support?
